The workshop will introduce the audience to tools such as the FAIR Wizard and the Data Stewardship Wizard. These are both web browser tools for creating and customising data management plans (DMPs) and associated templates. DMPs can be exported following recommendations from national and international funders, including the Norwegian Research Council. This workshop applies to all data-driven fields.

Learning objectives:

  • Understanding how an organisation or research group can take DSW into use and adapt it to a certain domain
  • Starting a new DMP on DSW, from scratch or following a set of pre-filled recommendations
  • Sharing and working collaboratively on the DMP
  • Assessing the FAIRness of your dataset based on the DMP
  • Export a DMP according to funders' templates
  • Creating customised questionnaires and adapting existing ones; making these questionnaires public
