HemaFAIR Lecture 9 - Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks pre- and post- award management

This lecture, delivered by Dr. Kimberley Renther, provides a practical overview of the management of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks, covering the key steps from proposal preparation to project implementation and completion. It explains the requirements for building a successful consortium, structuring the doctoral training programme, preparing the grant agreement and establishing the consortium agreement, as well as the organisational, financial and reporting obligations after the award.

The session highlights how Doctoral Networks implement international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary doctoral programmes that enhance researchers’ skills, employability and innovation capacity. It also addresses governance structures, supervision, recruitment procedures, deliverables, risk management and communication with the European Commission. Within the HemaFAIR context, the lecture provides guidance for coordinating and participating in MSCA projects, ensuring compliant, efficient and impactful project execution.
