Day 1: Wednesday 24th January, 2024 from 09:00-17:00 CET (including lunch)

Day 2: Thursday 25th January, 2024 from 09:00-13.00 CET

Venue and accomodation

The event will take place at the Courtyard Hotel by Marriott, Brno.

For those requiring accomodation we reccomend attendees to stay at the same hotel as the event. Room bookings can be made on the Courtyard Hotel by Marriott, Brno website. The event rate is: 2,650 CZK per night per single room or 2,850 CZK per night per twin room.

Direct to Brno airport
There are only Ryanair flights from London Stansted.

Via Vienna airport to Brno
We reccommend this option due to faster connection to Brno by direct buses RegioJet or Gepard Express (stop Grand Station, approx. 2 hours drive).

Via Prague airport to Brno
From Prague airport, you need to count with approx. 3-3,5 hrs drive to Brno. From the airport, take the Airport Express to the main station (every 30 min) and then train to Brno by České Dráhy or Regiojet.

Public transportation in Brno
To the venue Courtyard Hotel, Brno: From the Main Station or Grand Station, take tram 7 or 8 to Křídlovická station and walk 550 meters (~9 mins).

Online attendance

Through the event registration link it is possible to register for remote attendance. Remote attendance will be possible via our live streaming set-up at the event.

This year’s focus of the Compute Platform will be centred around the new 2024-2026 ELIXIR Compute Platform Work Plan and strategic alignments to complementary compute related projects and initiatives (GAIA-X/GDI/EOSC/EuroHPC/+).
