Linux Containers

This slow-paced hands-on course provides a comprehensive introduction to Linux container technologies, covering two of the most presently used solutions: Docker and Apptainer/Singularity. We provide focus on their applications in scientific contexts and high-performance computing (HPC) environments. Linux containers, lightweight virtualization solutions, allow packaging applications along with their dependencies, enabling reproducible software environments across different machines.
