Data Interoperability

By making a spreadsheet interoperable the data becomes more accessible and more valuable, since it increases the chance that the same data can be (re)analysed and used to address other research questions. It also ensures research reproducibility. In this course, you will learn how to format a spreadsheet in order to make it interoperable and compliant with the FAIR principles. You will learn how to handle spreadsheet data so that it is: 1) Interoperable: data that can be integrated with other data and can be easily read by software and 2) Re-usable: data that are well described so that they can be understood by everyone and can be combined in other settings/contexts.

This is a self-paced course (no facilitators support available). Since there is no evaluation, a certificate will not be issued.
