ARC – Getting Started Guide

The DataPLANT “Getting Started” guide introduces users to ARCs (Annotated Research Contexts), which are structured, FAIR digital objects designed to standardize and organize research data for both human and machine readability. Aimed at easing newcomers into the process, the guide provides step-by-step instructions for creating, populating, and sharing an ARC. To make the experience relatable, it follows the fictional story of Viola, a plant scientist exploring ARCs for the first time.
