This training event will focus on annotating plant genomes using Helixer (structural annotation) and Mercator4 (functional annotation), and applying various other tools to interpret experimental results for practical use. Participants will engage in hands-on sessions to enhance their bioinformatics skills and learn to translate genomic data into actionable insights for plant science.

Master the use of Trimmomatic, Helixer, MapMan, Mercator4, Enrichment App, Untwist Knowledge Hub.
Apply bioinformatics tools to interpret and analyse genomic data for real-world agricultural applications.
Development of practical skills for analysing research results from diverse experimental studies.
Prerequisites:
Basic knowledge of bioinformatics and plant science.
Familiarity with genomic data and basic computational tools.
