Workflow4Experimenters International Course
29 May - 2 June 2017Workflow4Experimenters International Course https://www.france-bioinformatique.fr/W4E2017 https://tess.elixir-europe.org/events/workflow4experimenters-international-course Processing, statistical analysis, and annotation of metabolomics data is a complex task for experimenters since it involves many steps and requires a good knowledge of both the methodology and software tools. The Workflow4metabolomics.org (W4M) online infrastructure provides a user-friendly and high-performance environment with advanced computational modules for building, running, and sharing complete workflows for LC-MS, GC-MS, and NMR analysis (Giacomoni et al, 2015). Goals: During this one-week course, participants will learn how to use the W4M infrastructure to analyze their own dataset. Morning sessions will be dedicated to methodology and tools. Afternoon sessions will be devoted to tutoring. 2017-05-29 08:35:00 UTC 2017-06-02 19:25:00 UTC IFB (Elixir-Fr) NMR Metabolic pathways Metabolomics Pasteur Institute, PARIS Life Science Researchers workshops_and_courses GalaxyWorkflows
Galaxy Admin Training
25 - 29 January 2021Galaxy Admin Training https://galaxyproject.org/events/2021-01-admin-training/ https://tess.elixir-europe.org/events/galaxy-admin-training-e8fe46a1-a150-4a0d-a33f-e7e8b2653258 Galaxy is an open web based platform for biomedical data integration and analysis. It is deployed at large and small organizations around the world and used in a broad range of biomedical research domains, and across the tree of life. This [workshop](https://gxy.io/gat) will cover introductory and advanced topics you need to know to set up your own production, high-performance and multi-user Galaxy instance. Sessions will be intensive and hands-on, and taught by experienced instructors from the Galaxy Community. Participants will learn how to install, configure, customize, and extend their own Galaxy servers. Topics include tool configuration, authentication and user management, using heterogeneous storage and compute services, and many other topics that will enable you to get your own Galaxy server up and running, performing well, and used by your community. 2021-01-25 09:00:00 UTC 2021-01-29 23:00:00 UTC Galaxy Training Network Linux system administrators workshops_and_courses first_come_first_served GalaxytrainingSystem Administration

This will be an online event, spanning all time zones. All training sessions are pre-recorded, so you can work through them at your own pace, and manage your own time. A large community of GTN trainers will be available via online support to answer all your questions. The program covers a general introduction to the Galaxy platform, NGS Analysis (DNA-seq and RNA-seq), Proteomics, and also features a Choose your own adventure day on Friday, where we encourage you to explore all the tutorials that the GTN training repository has to offer, and follow those that are of interest to you. The GTN tutorials cover a wide range of scientific topics, from NGS to ecology, climate science, machine learning, visualization, and many more.
