The symposium will bring together some of the most highly regarded Academics and Companies in the world with novel technologies in several sessions, with topics focused on: - Proteomics - Protein Modifications - Single Domain and Recombinant Antibody tools - Next-Generation Affinity Reagents - Interactomics - Bio-sensing and molecular interactions - Single-Cell technologies - Protein design Catalyzed by VIB’s Technology Scouting team, the Tools and Technologies meetings focus on the front end of innovation and bring together key innovators in selected life sciences research fields. The Next-Generation Antibodies and Protein Analysis conference is set to make another world class meeting, bringing together an exciting selection of top speakers and newly emerged companies. In addition to great scientific and technology program, the conference will provide ample networking opportunities. 2017-10-16 09:00:00 UTC 2017-10-17 17:00:00 UTC VIB Gent ICC, Gent, Belgium Gent ICC Gent Oost-Vlaanderen Belgium 9000 Protein interactions Proteomics Protein modifications Protein folding, stability and design [] info@vibconferences.be Absolute Antibody PerkinElmer Abcam BioConnect BioRadGenscriptMerck Macs Miltenyi Biotec ThermoFisher PhD studentsindustryAcademicsPost-Docs meetings_and_conferencesreceptions_and_networking first_come_first_served protein sequence analysisProtein identificationProteinsantibodiesinteractomicsSingle Cell technologies

  • NETTAB 2018: Building a FAIR Bioinformatics environment

    22 - 24 October 2018

    Genova, Italy

NETTAB 2018: Building a FAIR Bioinformatics environment https://tess.elixir-europe.org/events/nettab-2018-building-a-fair-bioinformatics-environment NETTAB 2018 is organised in collaboration with ELIXIR Nodes of the UK and Italy as well as the Italian Society of Bioinformatics, BITS. The main focus will be on FAIR principles in bioinformatics, a challenging topic that we hope will attract many researchers from all over the world, including but not limited to, Bioinformaticians, Biologists, Computer Scientists, and others working or interested in the above research scope. The FAIR Guiding Principles for scientific data management and stewardship, published in 2016, has sparked worldwide interest across the biology community: from grassroots to policymakers, and from data providers to publishers. In order to make the FAIR concept a reality, we need to answer many questions, like: What is FAIRness? How to make FAIR data a reality? How to facilitate the translation to FAIR data? How to measure it? On these topics, there are many ongoing projects, such as EOSCpilot, FAIRmetrics, FAIRsharing, and GO-FAIR. Now is the perfect time to discuss on these topics and related actions, and to move on from FAIR principles to FAIR practice. The workshop will provide an excellent environment and a range of opportunities to present and discuss methods, theoretical approaches, algorithms, tools, platforms, practical applications and experiences of FAIR in Bioinformatics. 2018-10-22 09:00:00 UTC 2018-10-24 17:00:00 UTC NETTAB Ospedale Policlinico San Martino, 10, Largo Rosanna Benzi, Genova, Italy Ospedale Policlinico San Martino, 10, Largo Rosanna Benzi Genova Città Metropolitana di Genova Italy Data management [] paolo.romano@hsanmartino.it - paolo.dm.romano@gmail.com ELIXIR [] meetings_and_conferences [] FAIR
