    Software carpentry workshop Software Carpentry aims to help researchers get their work done in less time and with less pain by teaching them basic research computing skills. This hands-on workshop will cover basic concepts and tools, including program design, version control, data management, and task automation.     Data Management Planning workshop for Life Science Projects We are pleased to announce the Data Management planning workshop for Life Scientists organised in Bergen by [ELIXIR Norway](, [Digital Life Norway]( and [UiB library]( The intended audience are researchers (PhD candidates, Post Doctoral Fellows, Researchers, Associate Professors and Professors) who are planning to submit a grant application for a research project. Max. number of participants is 30.
