The short course will help you to be more confident using R and will prepare you for understanding statistical modelling in R. This workshop is for R and RStudio novices. Loading and saving tab and coma delimited files. Data exploration: basic statistic (mean, std. deviation and so on), basic plots (dotplots and histograms). Data sub-setting and filtering. Adding new columns with calculated values. Find-and-replace for values in a column. Detecting and handling errors an missing values in the data. Designing an appropriate structure for a spreadsheet.
